Assure Alliance - Back in the marketing saddle!

The Challenge: Fill in marketing content between full-time employees

Assure Alliance, an insurance agency network, represents a carefully selected group of competitive national and regional insurance companies providing a proven solution for direct writers, captive agents, and producers to establish independent agencies from scratch or grow their already existing agency. I also used to work there as their Communications & Events Coordinator before going out on my own!

They needed someone to fill their marketing role for a couple months, and since I knew the ropes from previously managing their marketing strategy, blogs, emails, graphics, social media, events, and more, they approached me to fill the gap. 

The experience of working together (again!)

Part of working with Assure Alliance felt exactly the same since I already knew their value proposition and audience. But some of it felt new since I had learned even more marketing strategies in my own business that I would have in mind when working with them again.

To refresh their current email sequences, I decided to take a more personal approach to their email strategy to allow potential clients to connect directly with the recruiters instead of sounding predominantly corporate. The aim was to create a connection and generate responses rather than sending standard promotional emails.

For the graphics, their branding was more modern and minimalistic than when I had been there, and it was so nice to work with a simple and beautiful style. Graphic design isn’t my number one strength, but it’s a nice creative break from solely writing all the time! I wrote the captions as well and was able to implement conversion strategies that I learned from my freelance copywriting experience.

It didn’t take long for them to find an incredible person for the full-time marketing role, and I’m glad I could help fill the gap!

Why I loved this project

Knowing that my contributions were still in action but that I could also help as they continue to grow was a great experience. I'm excited to see how their marketing continues to evolve and grow!
