Ben Hall: Video Script

My sweetest project to date, Ben Hall of Big Ben’s Desserts worked with me to craft a video script for a potential brand deal.

The challenge:

Like almost everyone I work with, Ben had an incredible story to share. The challenge was consolidating it into a short but thorough video script that would present the value proposition of partnering with Big Ben’s Desserts.

The solution:

I sat down with Ben and listened to his story and vision from start to finish. The first draft was very story focused and a bit too detailed, but I wanted to have more to cut if needed than too little. 

In the second round, I researched the other brand’s mission and values, and created a script that clearly defined how Big Ben’s Desserts and this brand shared the same mission almost to a T. 

Although they were working towards the same mission in different ways, it was essential to show how they would be stronger together than working apart. 

We’re waiting on the results, but Ben kindly responded with an email that I literally printed out because it was so nice… 

He said – “Wow wow wow!!... Loved every second and word of the script. It's literally like I'm writing it! It's perfect!... Seriously this sounded like I was reading my own autobiography! Loved it!”

My humility called, it wants its dignity back.

Idk, I’m still on cloud nine from such a fun and meaningful project.
